Important Update: Who Is Eligible for Glo Berekete 10X?

This means that once you purchase and activate a new Glo SIM card, you are automatically placed on the Berekete 10X plan, without needing to dial any activation code.

What Is Glo Berekete 10X?

For new users who qualify, Glo Berekete 10X remains one of the most generous tariff plans in Nigeria. It offers a 10X bonus on every recharge from ₦100 and above. These bonuses can be used for voice calls to all networks, SMS, and browsing. In addition, new customers get:

• Extra data on their first recharge of the month, valid for up to six months.
• Up to 100% bonus on data bundle purchases for the first four months.

This means new subscribers can enjoy bonus airtime and extra data consistently during their first few months of using Glo.

How to Access Glo Berekete 10X

Since the plan is now automatically activated for new subscribers, all you need to do is:

1. Buy and register a new Glo SIM card from any authorized Glo outlet or reseller.
2. Insert the SIM into your mobile device and ensure it is properly activated.
3. Recharge your line with at least ₦100 using any available method—paper recharge card, bank app, or MyGlo app.
4. You will automatically receive your 10X bonus, which will reflect in your bonus account.

There is no need to dial any short code—Glo has removed the migration option for older users, and new users are onboarded onto Berekete automatically.

Can I Still Migrate to Berekete 10X If I’m Already a Glo User?

Unfortunately, no. If you’ve been using your Glo line for more than six months, you do not qualify for the Berekete plan or its associated bonuses. You also cannot migrate manually to the plan anymore using 1001# or any other code.

Instead, Glo recommends exploring other available tariff plans like Glo Yakata or Glo 22X, which may offer different bonuses that suit longer-term users.
