Method 1: Check JAMB Result Online via JAMB eFacility Portal

This method requires an internet connection and your JAMB login details. Follow the steps below:

Open any browser on your computer or smartphone and visit the JAMB eFacility Portal using the link: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login

Now log in to your account by typing your email address and password that you used during registration your JAMB registration. 

Click submit to submit the email and password, and you will be logged in to your account if the details are correct.

After logging in, locate “Check UTME Results” button on the dashboard and click on the buton to check your UTME result.

View your score: Your result for each subject will be displayed on the screen. You can screenshot or print the page for future reference.

Method 2: Check JAMB Result via SMS (Without Internet)

This is a quick and offline method, ideal if you don’t have access to the internet.

Steps:

Open your messaging app: Open the text messaging app on your phone to send a text message.

Compose a new message: Use the phone number you used to register for JAMB to send “RESULT” (in uppercase, without quotes), followed by a space and your JAMB Registration Number.

Example: RESULT 12345678AB

Send the message: Send the message to 55019 or 66019 (JAMB’s official SMS numbers).

Wait for your result: You’ll receive an SMS with your UTME scores. This service costs ₦50, so make sure you have airtime.

Possible SMS Replies & What They Mean:

• “This phone number was not used for registration.” – The number entered is not linked to any registered candidate.
• “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows…” – The candidate’s result is available.
• “Result Withheld.” – The candidate’s result has been withheld.
• “Result withheld pending required clarifications/documents.” – Additional verification is needed before the result can be released.
• “CANDIDATE ABSENT.” – The candidate was absent for the exam.
• “Registration number cancelled.” – The candidate’s registration has been cancelled.
• “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall.” – The candidate entered the exam hall without authorization.

Method 3: Check JAMB Result via Result Checking Portal

Another simple online method that does not require logging in.

Steps:

Go to the JAMB Result Checking Page: Visit: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and navigate to the result checking tool.

Enter your details: In the input box, type the  phone number yiu used during registration, OR Your JAMB Registration Number.

Click “Check My Result”: Tap on “Check My Result” button and your result will be displayed instantly.
