How to Configure Glo APN settings manually

Method 1 of 2: Automatic Configuration of Glo Settings

Usually, the settings for Glo internet browsing is configured automatically when you input your sim in your device. In the case where the configuration is not done automatically, follow the steps below to request and apply Glo's APN settings:

1. Send Text Message For Settings: Open your text message app and send the SMS code (e.g., “ACTIVATE” to 1234) from your Glo device to request the settings.

After the message has been sent, you will receive the configuration settings as an SMS message.

2. Install and Save Settings: Open the SMS message received, and click "Install" or "Save" to save the configuration setting and integrate with your device.

3. Restart Your Phone: After saving the settings, restart your device for them to take effect.

Method 2 of 2:Manual Configuration On Smartphones and Wi-Fi 

1. On Android Device 

Open settings and find the section for Network Connections or Mobile Network.

Select option for Access Point Names (APN). If Glo APN is listed, edit it and fill the APN details below.

If Glo is not listed under your APN's, tap "Add" to create a new APN profile and fill in these APN details:

• Name: Glo Internet
• APN: gloflat
• Username: flat (if required)
• Password: flat (if required)

Note: Username and password is usually not required but you can fill them if it is required on your device.

Save the APN settings once completed and set the APN profile as active.

2. On iPhone

Open settings and find the section for "Cellular", then click on it.

Click on "Cellular Data Network" on the list to open your APN settings profile.

Fill in these APN details:

• Name: Glo Internet
• APN: gloflat
• Username: flat
• Password: flat

Note: Username and password is usually not required but you can fill them if it is required on your device.
