How to Configure 9Mobile (Etisalat) APN settings manually

Method 1 of 3: Automatic 9mobile APN Configuration Settings

Typically, your APN settings are configured automatically when the 9mobile SIM is inserted or eSIM is activated.

You will receive an SMS requesting you to save the configuration automatically on your device.

Optionally, you can request for the automatic configuration setting by sending a message.  Open your text messaging app and send “settings” to the short number 790 to request for the automatic configuration.

Wait for a message from 9mobile. Open the text and click "Activate" to save the settings.

Once activated, you have completed the 9mobile APN settings process. You can now access the internet and other 9mobile services.

Method 2 of 2:Manual Configuration On Smartphones and Wi-Fi 

1. On Android Device 

To configure 9mobile APN setting on your android device, you need to open "Settings" app on the device, then head over to "Connections" or "Mobile Network" option and tap on it.

Next, navigate  to Mobile Networks » Access Point Names to open APN settings.

On the page, check if 9Mobile or Etisalat APN is listed. If it is, edit it and fill the APN details below.

If 9Mobile or Etisalat APN is not listed under your APN's, tap "Add" to create a new APN profile and fill in these APN details:

• Name: 9mobile Internet
• Access Point Name (APN): 9mobile
• Proxy: 10.071.170.005
• Port: 8080
• MMS Port: Leave_Blank
• MCC: Ignore
• MNC: Ignore
• Authentication Type: Not Set
• APN type: default
• APN protocol: Ipv4
• APN roaming protocol: Ipv4
• Enable/disable APN: APN Enabled
• Bearer: Unspecified
• MVNO type: None
• MVNO Value: Leave_Blank

Note: Username and password is usually not required but you can fill them if it is required on your device.

Save the APN settings once completed and set the APN profile as active.

2. On iPhone

Open "Settings" app on your iPhone and tap to "Cellular" option on the list.

Next, click on "Cellular Data Network" on the page to open your APN settings profile.

Fill in these APN details:

• Name: Glo Internet
• APN: gloflat
• Username: flat
• Password: flat

Note: Username and password is usually not required but you can fill them if it is required on your device.
