How to Convert USD to Naira on Access Bank App (Access More)

Access Bank built a feature in the Access More mobile app that makes it easy to convert USD to NGN in a few taps, without hassle. The feature allows users who have a domiciliary account to fund their local Naira account easily from the domiciliary account.

What You Should Know

You will need to have the following in other to use the feature:

• An Access Bank domiciliary account (USD)
• A Naira savings or current account with Access Bank
• The Access More app installed and updated
• Your Access More login credentials (username and password)

How to Convert USD to Naira on Access More

Firstly, turn on your internet connection and then open the Access More app on your smartphone and wait for the app to load completely. Once the app loaded, you will be will be presented the login screen. 

Next, enter your username and password in the login fields or you can use fingerprint or facial recognition if it’s enabled on your device.

If you do not have a profile, You will need to register on the Access More app.

After a successful login, you'll land on the app's main dashboard. Scroll and select “Access Transfers” in the app's main menu.

This section contains all internal account transfer options, including foreign exchange conversions.

Inside the Access Transfers section, look at the top tabs and tap on “Convert FX.” This Convert FX tab is designed for currency conversion between your own Access Bank accounts.

Under the source account, your USD domiciliary account and its current balance will be displayed automatically.

Below it, your Naira account will appear as the destination account to receive the converted funds.

Note: If you have more than one domiciliary or Naira account, simply swipe left or right to choose the right account for conversion.

After you have selected the source domiciliary account and destination Naira account, tap the input field labeled “Amount”.

Enter the exact amount of USD you wish to convert and click outside the bot. The app will automatically load the current exchange rate and calculate the equivalent Naira amount in real-time.

Tap the “Submit” button to initiate the conversion between the two accounts selected.

A success notification will appear immediately after the transaction is processed.
