JAMB Registration for 2026 UTME Officially Begins

JAMB has commenced registration for candidates, including those from foreign countries, interested in the 2026 UTME. Registration can only be carried out only at accredited and approved JAMB CBT registration centres.

Before proceeding for registration, candidates are required to purchase the JAMB ePIN.

Candidates who already have their ePIN should download and completely fill the JAMB Registration Template before visiting any accredited CBT registration centre. The registration exercise closes on Saturday, 28th February, 2026.

The official novel for the 2026 UTME is The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba. UTME candidates are entitled to receive a free copy of the novel after completing their registration at an accredited CBT centre and are advised to request it if it is not given to you.

COMPULSORY DISCLOSURE OF PREVIOUS ADMISSION STATUS

Candidates are henceforth required to disclose their admission (matriculation) status by indicating their previous registration details with the year of UTME/DE at the point of registration.

Any false or non-declaration of previous registration/matriculation will automatically invalidate the candidate's registration/previous admission.

Having been previously admitted (matriculated) and wishing to change or start afresh in another institution or programme is allowed, however, failure to disclose such prior admission is an offense.

COMPLETION OF REGISTRATION

The bottom line is that if you have completely and correctly filled your JAMB registration template, there will be no issues during your registration. Before filling your course and subject combination on the template, ensure you have carefully gone through the JAMB brochure.

To complete your registration, you need to first verify on the system that all information on your registration template have been correctly entered into the registration portal before printing your registration confirmation slip.

You can only Print the Registration Confirmation SIip USING BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION to confirm valid fingerprint (UTME/DE).

Note that authentication with your fingerprint removes blames of error from CBT centres. Candidates are to check before confirming with their fingerprint.

Schools, Institutions, Tutorial Centres, Business Centres & Cafes can start setting up their CBT Centres to become JAMB CBT Agents and Training Centres to help train students for the upcoming exams.
